Like another person wrote on here, I said no to the insurance on the website, the person was friendly enough and accepted no thanks, but I didn t consent to my number being used in that way, only for delivery info (i.e. time slot) to be given. I had a call from a woman with an Indian accent on this number purporting to be from Virgin Media, saying there were error messages coming up on my Internet connection. I told them I wasn't the account holder and asked who they wanted to speak to. They then said that they understood I was the account holder. I asked them to name the person they wanted to speak to. The line went dead at that point, funnily enough. Definitely a scam.

These lowlifes keep harassing my 86-year-old mum - who is registered with the TPS by the way. I ve already blocked them twice, but they just pop up on a new number. They ve probably done the math - any leads they may get probably offset the fine, so they just carry on. Perhaps their director needs a personal visit from a tradesperson with some tools.
