Automated/Silent call. One of a series of calls from mobile numbers starting 077 in the space of a few days. Answered first call, where automated voice said "Your Amazon Prime membership has just been renewed at a cost of £79.99. If you want to cancel this payment, press 1". When called there is an American voice recorded message "Your call is very important to us. Please stay on the line & you will be transferred to next available agent..." It then plays music while caller holds. Long wait times, if you get connected to the agent. This seems to be a growing trend with different numbers continually changing. Potential fraud or scam.

SCAM / SPAM They tried to sell me washing machine insurance as they claimed my warranty expired. They have phoned repeatedly despite me asking them not to and to remove me from their list.
This number keeps calling, even though I m ex-directory. Sometimes their side is dead and then they call back again. Its PPI people trying to get me to make a claim. I have asked them to stop calling. They still call. Their telephone manner is VERY rude. Annoying people who I d never use even if I did ever want to claim PPI (which I dont)

I have had 6+ calls from this number to my mobile, some dropping out immediately, but they appear to be pursuing hearing loss claims. I have asked for my number to be removed on several occisions, but so far with no apparent success.
Indian guy called Frank (NOT!) called to get details from me. He had my name and address (which I didn t confirm) but was evasive when I asked what the company is so I hung up. Certain this isn t bona fide.
