I was called today by a woman with an American accent who stated that my internet would be cancelled today. Obviously a scam call and yet another problem for talk talk users.

Called to ask about my accident...which I ve never had. Nuisance call.

Somebody called and left no message. I called back and was spoken to by a very rude Abbie! I dont have a pet at my work address!! I certainly dont use a vet 20 miles from me. She said ignore it then. I ve been harassed by this number for weeks. Finally decided to answer the call and after no introductions (who they were, from what company)I was asked why I cancelled my sky package. I said I had fully explained all of this to Sky a while ago so they hung up on me. Number is now blocked in my phone.

I was hard at work concentrating on what I was doing when interrupted by this number calling me. I did not answer. When I investigated later Google associated it with Fed-Ex tracking service. Puzzled, I called it back, only to get a recorded message saying it was a research agency. More investigation revealed others had been bothered by it and that whoever these people are were claiming to be Carphone Warehouse. I doubt it.
