I think they tried calling last week, then again today to my unlisted mobile phone number (11th Nov). Indian sounding guy calls allegedly from BT. Tells me to go to my computer as he can assist with the virus that has been sent this weekend. Told him I would call out BT engineer if I had an issue, he says no one will come out. I reply I beg to differ - he puts the phone down! Hm - genuine, I don t think so!
This number is a SCAM. I just received a call from a man telling me he had my file in front of him and I have some unsecured debts. When I told him that I do not have any debts he hung up immediately and didn't even say goodbye. Clearly not a genuine debt advice agency because they would never hang up in such a manner. Avoid at all costs.

Carphone Warehouse - Cold Call Sales. Assuming it was just a sales call but find it odd how when I mentioned I was locked into a contract that they would "legally pay" me "out of the contract". A whole 2 years worth of bills? Sounds a bit odd to me.
SCAM - claiming that a transaction from outside the UK had been identified on my account and that they wanted to verify the transaction. No such activity on my accounts and no other channel of communication from my bank.
"Your internet is about to be cut off - press 1 to prevent ......etc....." nCall made 11am Saturday 25 Jul.
As all others call was terminated before I even had chance to react to my phone lighting up in front of me. From reading other comments I haven t rang back, nor do I intend to.
