Called our business, man with Indian/Asian accent asked for the business owner by name. Possible telemarketing (possibly scam) as it took a minute to connect to the call once I answered, definite call centre in the background. He wouldn't tell me which company he was calling from.

This is a loan broker - They actually did leave me a message which I appreciated. And I did make an enquiry about a loan so I have no issue with the way this company works. I didn t speak to them, just ignored the call as usual but listened to the message and the person didn t really sound like a blood thirsty sales man. Interestingly since making the enquiry - I have received well over 50 calls and this is the first to leave a message and the number was not unknown when they called.

Caller then tries to obtain your telephone banking security number by asking for the first "four" digits. This is followed by them saying it's not correct and wanting the last four digits. Louise wanted to send me a PPI pack. When I said I had already applied and had found I was entitled to 5p, she asked when. I said 6 months ago. She said I was upto date, thanked me and wished me a good day then rang off. Polite but still cold caller that is now blocked.
Pause of few seconds. High pitched noise, then computerised voice said "goodbye". Caller then hung up.
