Silent call
Foreign sounding guy purporting to be from BT Openreach. Told me he'd detected slow internet speed on my Broadband. Asked me various networky questions which I deflected. Eventually, he realised he was being taken for a ride and accused me or wasting his time (!) A tirade of abuse followed and he called me an a****le, m*****f*****r and a few other expletives. At this point I started laughing which made him even more abusive. I said I would report him to Ofcom as such language is illegal in UK phone network.

SCAM = Automated message saying there is a tax fraud investigation against my name. You MUST press one... I hung up at this point. HMRC will never contact you by phone.
