After delivery of appliance from A.O.com I keep receiving calls from this number several times a day. I had guessed it would be them as I ve not had any unknown numbers on my phone until this order. Like others have commented, if I wanted to buy extended cover I would ask for it myself. Disappointed with this type of sales calls.
These people obtain, STEAL, your tel. number from your ip address via metadata. Ever come accross annoying adverts when browsing online which doesn t let you close? ie. Engadget, youtube etc... Mine was a survey which popped up whilst online and I had to wait 20secs inorder to dismiss that advert. Enduring the agonising 20 secs. No bank name was given. apparently there were two transactions going through on my card, one for Amazon and another larger sum was an international money transfer. I was invited to press 1 to cancel the transactions or 2 to confirm. Naturally I did neither.
