Called my elderly mum lying to her saying her washing machine insurance with D&G was ending. NOT ENDING! Spoke about a direct debit and then tried taking a one off payment from her?!?! From my knowledge in working in contact centres/sales I told her to stop the call and to do some research. SCAMMERS trying to rip off anyone they can. Received a call from 01618186978 at 11:18am today. The man introduce himself as David Parker, who cannot even spell his name and with an Indian accent. He claims he calling from BT and will disconnect our internet line as it has proven to be hacked for 2 weeks now. I took all details and he said I could check from the number he has given. It's a scam! Please do not give any of your details....these people will hack you if your not careful!
