An automated female voice that purported to be calling from Amazon telling me that a certain amount of money would be taken by them from my bank account and if I wished to stop this then I needed to press a number on my keypad.
Keeps calling every day (often multiple times a day) and leaving silent voicemail messages which I have to pay to access. Have now sent this number to my reject list but expect more from a reputable company like the AA.
American voicemail saying it’s HMRC and you’re getting a fine - utterly lowlife people.

Had a call from a Leeds number. They said they were from Asset Claim Ltd and gave me their address, which I looked up online and there is a Asset Claim Ltd..BUT...the guy had my name and address inc postcode and said I was getting some PPI back and asked for my date of birth. I said I was not giving out my personal details and he started to get slightly irate. I also said I would not be giving out any bank details and he said I'm not asking for bank details, I need your date of birth. He cut me off. SCAM!
SCAM Received a text from this number claiming a new payee was set up on an HSBC account and if I want to cancel it to click on the supplied link. I received an identical text from a different number about a week ago, they are scams.
Very similar to everyone else. Had a phone call saying that I was wanted for Tax avoidance and that they were issuing a warrant out for my arrest if I didn?t pay. Seeing as my tax is paid through PAYE I know there?s no issue with my tax. However the tone in which the call is made is quite aggressive if someone is not used to this kind of con. Promptly put phone down.

Mithering constantly and hang up when I answer so I ve had to ring them back to get them to remove me from their list, it ll either work or make it worse for me!!! I m being harassed 4-5 times a day every day by tons of different companies, I m getting sick of them now!!!

Fraud SCAM Called me pretending to be from Amazon saying that someone had ordered an iPhone on my account. They then managed to trigger the Amazon reset password text message and pressured me to give me that code to them, presumably so that they could take control of my Amazon account. Hal s reply is spot on. If someone sends a text message to your landline and you don t pick up the phone it gets stored for you to retrieve later. This 0795 number is where you collect the message, plus the number of the mobile phone that sent the text. It s not dangerous. All depends on what the text message says, of course - that could be anything. In my case it was someone texting to say Sorry I Missed Your Call. See? Not dangerous.
