Have reported them to Action Fraud and Ofcom. They used my number and I was receiving 100+ phone calls and 100+ text messages an hour demanding why I had phoned them. Very distressing. Reply STOP worked.

Received a missed call from 01277 557 626 - phoned back as number from Brentwood where I live. No ringing, goes straight to a strange robotic voice saying "Your call is very important to us, please stay on the line while we transfer you to the next available agent" Then silence, no holding music. Hung up straight away as appears to be a bogus call - no company greeting and I doubt they ever transfer you to anyone. Just racking up your call time to get money.

Seems to be some call centre calling with fake PPI claims/ Industrial accidents/ worked in a noise environment, they have some database of phone numbers with basic details and then they just try, asking about accidents you have had (should have..) in the past, but it was nonsense in my case.
