When I said I don't have an amazon account she said it might be a bank account that they are trying to charge, when I asked who she was actually trying to speak to she didn't even know my name.???? poor attempt and poor English.

SCAM - I think this company (if it still exists as I am in London) is a victim of telephone cloning. I had a man call definitely not from a dry cleaners trying to convince me to accept a free iPhone 12 on the condition of... I hung up before he got a chance to continue.

Rang while I was out. Answer machine cut in and all I got some lunatic shouting "HELLOOOOOOOOOOOOOO". Number now blocked so they can't ring back.
When I asked for his full details so that I could check with bt he said "no problem" and hung up.

Read out to me my name and address and when I confirmed these was going to pass me to her "supervisor" to complete a form. Asked her to tell me what brand of washing machine I've actually got. SCAM - Claiming to be calling on behalf of EDF Energy, total gas and British gas to update records. I called EDF, they confirmed this is not their number. This is someone lying in order to try and get business away from your energy providers and therefore any information you give them could be used fraudulently!
