Tried a free app called call zapper today! I m sure there s loads similar ones available too! Answer silently (you have to be somewhere quiet!) then press home button and really quickly open the app then hit the FAX button and it plays the fax tone down the line to them! Let s see if it results in my number being deleted from their database! Give it a try and post up here how you get on!! PS It s not my app or anything (!) just sharing something I hope will work! JL

Told me he had detected my wireless connection was slow and they had been monitoring it for two weeks on the DNS server. He said my computer had a virus and needed me to connect to the internet so he could fix it. I told him I was an IT manager and he was talking nonsense and to go forth and multiply. He rang back and replied likewise and called me derogatory names. Don t be fooled by callers from this number telling you your computer has a virus. Hang up!!!

I received a call from two british east Indian sounding guys saying that they were calling from The online trading academy. The first one asked me personal info like what I did for a living and what I was currently trading... He then said he would put me on with his highly accredited colleague who then asked me to install an app called Anydesk so that he could screen share charts with me. When I declined giving all info and downloading the app he told me that by giving him just $500 he would give me retur

It is an automated message that states that you are being investigated for tax evasion and if you fail to press certain numbers, you will have an arrest warrant issued for you. This could be potentially very dangerous and the number should be blocked immediately.

Received several missed calls. Today I got a text message as if the message had come from 02. Really annoying.
SCAMScam. 'Christopher' from an 'accident claims line' regarding an accident on (correct date) that was 'not your fault'. This is around the 10th call in a month using same script from different numbers (all now blocked). SCAM - phoned with recorded message about my NI being used fraudulently, then please hold for an officer.....then a foreign man answered said he is from the national fraud division...after me asking him a couple of pinpoint questions he hung up. Turns out the number is a vodafone mobile number.
Apparently I've ordered something from Amazon and they want me to press a number to get a refund.
