Answered the call last night and was told they wanted to review my life insurance when I said I wasn t interested, the caller said "you re f.....g stupid" and hung up. Nice attitude - thank fully I m not easily offended. However, all numbers will be blocked in future

I was called from this number allegedly 'Virgin media' did not trust the caller so dialed it back to find out it was a residential number whose number had been scammed. On calling Virgin and my bank fortunately they never got anything. Just hang up and block number.

TV Guard called me today, offering to reduce 'my' monthly charge from £7 to £5. Caller claimed to be working "at the back of the Government" offering a nationwide service to everyone who owns a television. Obviously this is a scam, but if you didn't know better it sounded quite plausible. The caller offered me his name and extension number - no telephone number to go with it though!
