Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. Similar numbers are reported as a telemarketing - sometimes energy companies. Did someone answer any number of this range? Is there any reason why companies use line with shared costs for just ringing you and left no message (other than scam...)? If this was a silent call for you, do not call back for any reason! Am registered with TPS and numerous other groups and never give out my number and if I must refuse permission for it to be passed on. 14 calls now this week and there s still 3 days to go! An extremely rude man (possibly antipodean accent) identified himself as being from the "Credit Protection Association", asking for our MD. My request for the reason for his call was met with abuse, so I ceased conversing with him. When I phoned back the number to make a complaint, I was met with a recorded message telling me I had received a marking call from the Credit Protection Association before it disconnected my call.

When I said I didnt believe him he offered to quote my computer security number and get me to type it in and if it didnt agree with what my computer said I could hang up and I would never hear from him again. This was not a scam call. My car has a service yearly and this number follows up with a "how was the service" call a few days later. It was from the dealership which is a trusted one.
Called a few times. just answered a foreign sounding bloke from accident claim department about an accident I have had. I have never had a accident and neither has any member of my family, he soon hung up
