Chap with asian accent, calling from advantage at 17.55 hrs, he wanted me to confirm my name then answer questions, but then said I was under no obligation to do so (clearly), I said I would not answer any questions and said he was to not bother me again and I hung up. if this occurs again, I will not be so polite.

Indian man, after giving an English name,says he is calling from BT Technical Dept.I know that there is no such Department within the BT organisation!!I said goodbye and put the phone down!! Claimed to be Industrial Workers Office. Would not say where obtained phone number. Were asking for my son whose name has never been in a phone book with the number being called. Having looked at this and other websites it appears to be another number being used to that already reported
Automated voice said it was the office of national crime (or something to that effect) and that they'd have to suspend my national insurance number. Hung up at that point.

I was told they were from O2 and had an offer on for 30% off the next bill. I was being transferred to the bill department so put the phone down and straight away was called by another "fraudulent" number. I didn't answer.

SCAM - claim to be working for o2 to offer a discount, they are obviously trying to SIM swap or login to account as they already have your mobile number they can get an o2 security text message sent to your phone. The text message is legitmate BUT you must not give them the code. It even says in the message never to share the code with anyone. They need the code to access your account. DON'T LET THEM!
