Rang 1471 to identify number after call cut off once answered. Then rang number prefixed by 141 and somebody in India answered and, when questioned, indicated that they were marketers. Clearly the number is a ghost number for call display purposes wrongly showing to be an internal UK call

Hi Ive just rung the number I read above - 0207 1750125. I spoke to a man called ~Barry who said that I had applied for a loan. When I said I had applied for a loan but whenever it comes up I have to pay I dont persue the application. He then said that it was a for a "membership" not a loan. I told him I had no idea what he was talking about as I had not spoken to anyone about "memberships etc" and I had not given my card details to anyone. He said that "on THIS occassion he would refund me but its

SCAM The caller was a recorded message suggesting they were from a Londoon Magistrate and stated that if I choose to ignore this information then my National Insurance number will be blocked and stop working. After another threat they told me to press 1 to speak to the officer in charge of the case. At which point I hung up.
Calling on behalf of HMRC have sent six letters requesting six different amounts seems they do not know what they are doing - just rack in some money whether you owe or not. Ignored them.

Just received unsolicited text from this number asking if interested in a savings plan. Smells like scam/spam to me. Forwarded to O2 spam line and ignored.
Ringing again and again, I just lift up phone and replace it right away so at least they are paying for the call.
Recorded message claiming to be from Bank Security about two large with drawls from my accounts. I have had the same call but from different numbers in the recent past. Complete and utter SCAM.
01343542708 called my house phone, a man with an Asian/Indian accent spoke about the problems I was having with my BT broadband, I told him I wasn’t with BT and having no problems with my broadband. Had a phone call from them and they seemed to know some of my personal details (well, as far as my phone number, name and 1st line of my address). I asked them who they were and got the response AAC and nothing more than that. The guy was very evasive and when I asked what the call was regarding was just told it was "sensitive information". I told him he had the wrong number and I hung up. I was involved in a car accident about a year ago so they may well have been ringing about that.
