These jokers called me today addressing me as "Mr Steven" I said where are you calling from? He said "Nationwide" I said "Really? Well then you should know that in Britain nobody is Mr first name either just use their first name or Mr with their last name". This confused my thickly accented Indian friend greatly but I think he understood me in the end. Call from man (no gentleman) with Indian accent who claimed to be from Microsoft Technical Department. When I jokingly replied that I was from Microsoft fraud department he ranted down the phone at me for 15 minutes in abusive language before he eventually hung up. I have had scam calls before but this one was downright offensive.

Just had a very unpleasent talk with a man who called from this number claiming he represents Warbrook & Co . He was very rude, he wanted to talk to my husband who was not at home and then he said it is about some money investment and it is urgent. He didn t sound credible and I would never have any bussiness with him.

A robot saying there was a warrant for my arrest due to my "tax evasion". The robot informed me I would be arrested if I did not press one. Pressed one as a joke to see what would happen - they put me in hold and then a man answered. I said "you are under investigation for fraud" and he hung up lol You can't call the number it will say it is not recognised as well

I am suspicious of this phone number. The man phoning spoke good English with a strong accent and was convincing. He told me he was from AV (antiviral program) and that my recent payment of £149 had not gone through. He offered me a discount policy at £29 for the next year. Re The failed bank payment, the bank itself stopped this money and when I spoke to my bank it was decided that the £149 seemed high for an anti viral program and there was a possibility of fraud.
