SCAM / SPAM They claimed to be looking into some fraudulent activity attached to my insurance number. When I asked if they could provide me with my insurance number, they hung up. They had a long spiel about how my insurance number had been used to hire a boat (!?) and found blood and cocaine on this boat later or something like that. Big accusations, clearly nothing to back it up.

This company ring every day on a different number as I keep blocking them all. Had a quote for windows last year, apparently was a local company! Turned out was a distant company pretending to be local to get sales leads. As soon as the sales guy came and realised it was a big no! 2hours later and it took ages for him to get the hint and go
Got a call from this number stating that it is an investment company and they had my details (phone number, full names and surname, an investment account number, and my credit card number. They claimed I had a small balance with them and they wanted to refund it to me, I said I have no knowledge of an account or refund due. Call from man (no gentleman) with Indian accent who claimed to be from Microsoft Technical Department. When I jokingly replied that I was from Microsoft fraud department he ranted down the phone at me for 15 minutes in abusive language before he eventually hung up. I have had scam calls before but this one was downright offensive.
