I had dealings with retail merchant services last year. Their salesman lied about contracts and fees and altered paperwork after I had signed it. It very nearly cost me £4000, luckily I threatened them with a police case for fraud and they left me alone until now and they are trying to sell me their machines again. Google retail merchant services complaints and then stay well clear.

Defintely a scam call. These calls use spoofed numbers, originate outside the UK and are untraceable. Block the number on your phone. For a mobile, refer to the manufacturer...

Every couple of days the Green Deals Advice Line leaves a message. Today I called them back, told them we were with TPS and asked them to stop. The loser on the other end just hung up on me. When I 1471 d him the number that came up was 01313324913.

Just had a call from this number, an asian lady called Kate Brown(???) who said that my IP address was being used by others around the world so they will be cancelling user licence on my IP address. The second option was they will talk me through how to block so I wont be compromised. Told her that I was computer illiterate and could she ring back later and speak to my hubby. Seems to be University of Bristol Alumni organisation, phoning alumni. Other sites report fund-raising. Probably legitimate rather than fraudulent, but I have no knowledge.

Legit call from AA regarding a breakdown call out

This company continually ring a home number stating it is a non urgent call and to ring them back.

Called from 01245 407320 Unsolicited call from these cowboys today ( 25 Oct 2014). Despite my number being on the TPS, they asked for me by name. My wife wouldn t put the call thru to me until they confirmed what they wanted to ask me about. The caller refused to confirm this, so wifey hung up on them. Has phoned me 3 times in last week. Asian male asks for me by name then when asked who they are and what do they want they hang up. Have threatened to call police if they continue with suspicious calls. I was getting quite upset with the hang ups. Have no idea why they keep calling and not identifying themselves. Idiots

Very helpful company, have helped me to retrieve my uninsured losses. My insurance company just fobbed me off.
