I can assure everyone it is Vodafone, it s a Rotherham code number 01709 , that is where the company Webhelp is based. Webhelp have a various of campaigns there, Vodafone being one of the best. I know this myself because I work there.. we only ask questions to do with your current account because we need you to confirm it, meaning we already now it. Still don t believe me?.. Look the number up on the Vodafone website instead of some lame little blog.

Online search says scam, various types eg Amazon Prime etc.

Nasty pieces of work. It is nasty people from Unite, that so-called trade union who are notorious in the (TV and radio) news for selling out clients to 3rd parties, colluding with employers of their own membership, and selling s**t like stannah stair lifts, private health insurance, Unite s own credit card, enhanced legal services for divorces, deaths of kids and other stuff nobody asked for. They hang up, when challenged for their surnames and call centre location.

They told me that they are from Boost Energy (I m not sure) and talked me about prepaid smart meter, cheap tariffs and other stuff. I ll call my supplier if I want change my current offer.

Apparently a company dealing with PPI Claims...only picked up call as it came from an area code I recognised as I used to live there...

This was a recorded message concerning solar panels and instructing me to press 2 immediately. Of course I didn't do that.

Text from this number about DPD delivery links to www.dpd-deliverycost.co.uk which doesn't seem to exist. Seems to be a scam/not valid.

Called at 14:45hrs 27/08/2015 Started to ask questions he already knew. I reply with your number has called me 6 times at least this week and I requested him to take my number of their call list I reminded him that the call was been recorded he tried to get me to hange up I kept on the line until he put the phone down

great... got a couple of silent calls from this number. any clue who s behind this?

Indian callers are using this number to scam people - acting as BT officials and urging the people they call to switch on their computers so they can either fix your internet connection or help you get rid of a virus. Being extremely PC-savvy, I challenged the caller, at which point they disconnected the call.

Phoned me - some robotic voice on the other end but I couldn t really make out what it was saying, then it disconnected

Indian call centre. It starts off with auto message that goes hello. ... hello. .. then connects you to a call centre operator. If you give your name when you answer it logs and records it too.

I have had 7 calls in the last 24 hours from 3 different numbers all claiming to be this company

I phoned the number back& it was answered by a female with a Liverpudlian accent, who repeatedly mumbled the company name,but I eventually got it out of her. She said Our records show that you may have been involved an a minor accident in the last 2.5 years and may have suffered an injury. I told her that I had not. THE GUY CALLED ASKING TO BE TRANSFERRED IN THE EXTERNAL PHONE NUMBER: 09071267755, SAYING HIS PHONE ON THE ROOM WAS NOT WORKING SO I TRANSFERED HIM ONCE, WE CHECKED THE PHONES AND EVERYTHING WAS WORKING SO WE DIDNT TRANSFERRED HIM AGAIN . HE WAS KEEP CALLING AND WHEN WE REFUSED HE WAS SWEARING ON THE PHONE.
