Said they were BT. Lots of background noise so I challenged with "sounds very noisy for BT". Said that I used to be a BT customer and they wanted to offer me deals to welcome me back. I asked when their records indicated I was a BT customer (they didn t know). They asked about my package. I told them Virgin TV/phone/internet and they kept upping my speed of internet. They said "You re on fibre optic then?" I confirmed I was happy with Virgin so the call ended.

Had a cold calI from this number today. I answered the phone, could hear voices in the background. Nobody replied and the line went dead after about 30 seconds. I rang the number back and found out that it belongs to Logic Guard Insurance. I told them that I am registered with the TPS and asked them to take my number off their database. I also said that I will report them if they ring me again. I was told that my number would be removed from their phone list and I won t get any more calls from them. Let s

Three times in the last 10 days this number has dialed my number. 020 is from London, I believe. I just let it ring until it switches off.

I received lots of missed calls and voicemail messages from this number asking to call them back to discuss the matter. No idea who they are or why they keep calling me.

Cold calling re car accidents. I thought these firms had been banned and fined for cold calling?

Have called at least once per day, sometimes more for the last two months. Asolutely sick of being called by this number, evn though blocked on my phone. When will something be done about these scamming parasites. Never answered after reviewing this number as unfamiliar. They should be shut down.

Asked where she got my number she said Road Traffic Accident Department which obviously is twaddle, or there own internal RTA department. Very plausible good English speaker from Call Prevention Service claiming to be working with the official Telephone Preference Service. Gave a Bournemouth address and a contact name. Selling something to block calls at about ?1.95 a month. There is no such number. You can pay BT same amount for similar service. Suspect also data gathering. I have reported to TPS

James rang me a couple of weeks ago saying we needed to renew our Google Business package with him - thought it was a bit dodgy as we paid a two yr subs with another company a year or so ago. Contacted the bona-fide company and they said its a scam and to prove it to ask him if he knows my Google Business password. Yet to speak to him, so will be doing so!
