They offered me a 40% discount on my EE bill. I checked with EE and its a scam, nothing to do with EE. They ask some personal questions (which i refused to answer) then send a generic email, Subject 'EE Upgradation' (im not even sure that's a word, is it) saying Welcome to EE, etc, etc. I hung up and suggest you do the same.

Robot pretending to be from national crime agency said they want to suspend my NIN because of illegal criminal activity. Said to press 1 to speak with an agent. It's a way of scam, a way of harvesting NIN.

Automated call allegedly from the NCA claiming my NI number was used for illegal activity and it is now suspended. The message then asks to press 1 to speak to a case officer to prevent my assets being seized, etc.
Three times today (8 June 2017) this number has rung me and when I answer the line goes dead.

Just been called by this number to inform me my emails are being used by someone in the usa and if I follow his instructions through my computer we can solve this together. Bloody nice chap! However I do know that once connected to your computer they can lock you out unless you make payments to them. SCAM me thinks. Chap with asian accent, calling from advantage at 17.55 hrs, he wanted me to confirm my name then answer questions, but then said I was under no obligation to do so (clearly), I said I would not answer any questions and said he was to not bother me again and I hung up. if this occurs again, I will not be so polite.

Receiving calls about boiler replacement every couple of days and I am now about to put it on my Truecall machine. The best ?100 I ever spent. I seldom get nuisance cals these days but as soon as I have time I Google them to check authenticity, then put them on the Truecall if not trusted. I am hard of hearing, most know this and I seldom get calls now unless important.
