I have told them, I do not discuss personal information over the phone, they agreed to email me, however, no email and continuous calls...The lady is very polite and sounds Indian.

Knew surname of account holder and a partially correct address for the property (i.e. they d got the address from an address database, and not from us). Started a spiel about nuisance calls and how they want to get everyone onto the new government service - at which point I hung up on the shyster.

SCAM / SPAM Appears to be a banking scam. Received a text message saying that I had successfully paired a new device and should click on a link if I hadn’t recently paired a new device. The link is to a fake Halifax website which asks for login details. I phoned the Halifax and they told me it was a scam. The worrying thing is that they knew my name, number and that I bank with the Halifax! Beware!!
