Got a phone call today about car my accident. I said I don't drive and they told me that actually I was a passenger. Told them to f... off and blocked the number

rings 3 times a day and hangs up - nuisance calls particularly when they are calling HMRC

Didn t answer the call and came here to check the number. Lots of these apparently foreign numbers are actually originating in the UK by using software diallers that mask the caller s true location.As other posters suggest, a good rule of thumb is - if the number looks suspicious it probably is.

Telephone Preference Service is free and will never call you. Never give any information to an unknown caller, no matter how plausible they sound.

Keep getting called by this number telling me there is a problem with my internet and to phone it back. I am sure it is not a number for my internet provider

The lady texted and said sorry for wrong text . upon asking she said she live in another country but has studied and worked in UK hence she has this number. Not sure if its trustworthy or not

They call me every two weeks asking for Simon Martins - that s not me by the way. Every time, I plead them to take my phone number off the system, they promise they ll do it but still the calls continue.

Apparently I've been in an accident in which I was innocent <sigh>

First caller (Laura) very rude and insistent that I had reported a car accident which I hadn t. 2nd caller 5 minutes later (Elliot) was quite polite. Gave the address of the call centre as 34 Regents way Liverpool.

I get about 3 calls a week from these debts collectors called Capquest. They are silent and harassing calls to do with student loan repayments. Ignore all calls and tell tem to put everything in writing, then you can use the paper as fire starters......job done.

Second number used by Vitality. I used the website for a ONLINE quote, and ticked or unticked all relevant boxes to avoid any contact being made. Clearly they are ignoring this and continue to bother me.

Called saying there were problems with the coding on our website and would we like a free report? I asked if it was to do with SEO and she sheepishly replied that it was. I politely declined.

Reject the call and then block the number before answering for the first time. I cancelled my Labour Membership and now I am getting calls from this number to rejoin, sometimes at 9pm.

Caller asks for you by name then asks a survey related to money ppi. Few days later you will get loads of calls from other numbers all related to the questions you were asked on the first call.

this number constantly rings my landline but when i answer the caller cuts off. as soon as you ring back to tell them to stop it you are told by automated voice all lines are busy please wait then they cut you off. damned annoying they my our number but i cannot stop them who are they?

This number appears to be from 2Touch, a direct marketing company. In my case they were calling on behalf of EDF Energy in response to a complaint, so it was a legitimate call.

At least 2 calls every day from this number. When I do pick up the phone goes dead. Its about time the TPS in this country gained real power like the US, over there if a company calls after being told not, they have to pay a fixed penalty to the homeowner. In this country it seems the TpS is totally ignored!
