I was phoned by 01425615425 today telling me they were from bt and they were going to cut my internet off because fraud is being committed from my internet connection this of course is untrue and it is fraudulent phone call and when I said your lying it's a scam they were rather rude and hung up on me

Very noisy background. Claimed to be from EE. Could not answer any of my questions to prove she was calling from EE and hung up when challenged. Probably a scam.

Far Eastern lady claiming to call from Curry’s/PC World. There seemed to be a ‘click’ on the line before she spoke. SCAM ?

SCAM . . . . . starts with a text "Where are you? I'm waiting for you". If you reply you will be marked down as a 'responder' and active with replying to texts (or even worse, possibly phone calls). Simply ignore it and block the number.

Received call, recorded message, pertaining to be HMRC asking me to press a number to talk to them about incorrect tax return. I believe this to be fraudulent and that HMRC would not make contact in this manner.

Another scam call from "The Advisors", trying to sell premium savings on life insurance. 'Paul' tells me their website is at theadvisors.co.uk - visiting that results in a rather empty webpage from the domain owner trying to sell the domain for £800. No proper website in place! Called me and implied that they were operating on behalf of my estate agent and this was the 'next step' in the purchase of my new property. Tried to get my address details claiming that it was all part of 'data protection' - when I said 'heck no - I'm not giving you any details' then they doubled down on the the claim that they were operating on behalf of my estate. Very upsetting.

Number shown was a 01189 local number so i picked it up. No answer and the it hung up. Dialed 01471 to retieve number but, it actually was 018731006? meaning this was a scam caller.
