Indian man, after giving an English name,says he is calling from BT Technical Dept.I know that there is no such Department within the BT organisation!!I said goodbye and put the phone down!! Automated call Called by this number saying that this is a warning that some money will be taken from my account today. I have never heard of a bank that calls a person without the person calling forst so it is obviously a scam. Not sure how they scam, but I have blocked this caller now and it will be blocked forever. Just be aware and check your passwords etc on your bank details.

Scam call claiming to be HMRC, THIS IS NOT HMRC. Do not answer. I answered just to tell them to stop scamming. Disgusting really, preying on those that are vulnerable. Very rude as well on the other end of the phone.
rang once,told them not interested, then rang back straight away i did not answer, then they phoned again my partner answered said i had just left accused her of lying and laughed rudely repeating you re lying, she gave them a few choice words back and hung up.

They offered me a 40% discount on my EE bill. I checked with EE and its a scam, nothing to do with EE. They ask some personal questions (which i refused to answer) then send a generic email, Subject 'EE Upgradation' (im not even sure that's a word, is it) saying Welcome to EE, etc, etc. I hung up and suggest you do the same.

Called saying I had been on an all inclusive holiday in the last few years. I ve never been on an all inclusive, and I only recently changed my mobile number. I asked where they got my number "we work with a number of third parties" was the only response I could get. Didn t even wait to find out what they wanted, asked to be removed from system and also blocked the number.
