Scam call, purporting to be calling from BT with regard to our internet connection. When I suggested to the Indian sounding caller that his call was a scam, he hung up.
This is a spam call from people purporting to be from BT Openreach advising there is a problem with my broadband connection. This is the fourth call I've had in a fortnight, all from different numbers, all callers with strong Asian accent and totally unable to deviate from the script they have in front of them. On asking for a number to call back to verify they are from BT, they will spout a 32 digit "verification code" and threaten to cut off your internet if you don't proceed with the

Caller said that my Sky maintenance was due for renewal. I was suspicious straight away but weirdly I had just had Sky installed that day. I asked who had given my number and caller then terminated the call.

Had ordered from M&S, got phone to say order delayed for 24hrs and was given option to press different numbers for further info. I didn’t, never would in casecscsm call. Checked number on-line and feel confident number is bona fide but will discuss in store when I collect order just in case it’s not
It seems these companies are only doing there targets, As the customer says yes (with OVR function) they just deduct the amount from your account Debit/Credit Card. The biggest fool part is that they are not with there words and for this they have to pay now. At this point when you want to talk again to them and call on those numbers it says number u dialed is not valid . It sucks now what to do i am really irritated. I have some products from nationwide. got a text claiming to be from Nationwide saying they need to speak to me and to call on this number- about my account. The products I have wouldnt involve them speaking to me. Proper scam! DO NOT RING BACK. Very clever as it come sup as if its actually from Nationwide even my phone put the text under the same sender as the legit Nationwide.
