Coronavirus. Claimed to be from government updating records about coronavirus. This is the 4th call with this claim. They ask questions about vaccination and whether you have had the virus. They claim there is some government initiative to pay half of insurance claims relating to the virus. The whole exercise comes to a stop when I won't tell them who my life insurance is with. One call even suggested I make up a provider, so I suggested he make one up. Seems like a phishing scam.

SCAM I have this afternoon received a telephone call purporting to be National Grid Meter Department and confirming a date and time to change meter as they said it was over charging. Suggested a refund available since last year of £652.23 Offered a booking slot and advised the new meter number as E14UP04L89. Asian voice called me claiming to be from EE, offering 40% off charges. I could see it was an Inverness number so said I didn't believe he was from EE, at which point he said I could fcuk myself! Number now blocked.

Scammed me out of £600 for flights , Tricked me into thinking i had a flight booked. I was also daft as i did a direct transfer (stupid i know) , Said his name was Raj , another guy phoned me called Satish saying he was the manager . Tried to get more money out of me and get my card details . Whatsapp shows it as a business account (Travel Agency) but anyone can register whatsapp as a business account with no proof (which is so wrong). I have reported to whatsapp . Please Don't get scammed like me.

Texted me to say 'thank you' for completing the BT broadband survey, invited me to reply with "NEXT" to have Openreach carry out repairs free of charge. I had not completed a survey so it's obviously a scam. Very convincing text with no spelling mistakes.
This showed up as a missed call this morning without even ringing. No message left. Suspicious.
