Phoned into a TV company s production office, hung up immediately we announced who we are... Clearly a scammer!

Always a useful service to have. The product was explained with confidence.

Called me and asked to speak to [my name]. I asked who they were, gave company name. Started trying to small talk with me so I asked the reason for the call. He then said "We re calling because of some information we ve been pass-" and then he hung up on me. Presumably he knew I couldn t be fleeced!

Rang but no one on the other side said anything. Phone alerted me that it was potential fraud.

this number called my mobile while off. The next day I started receiving more calls from different numbers regarding refund claims - scams.

PPI spam text came through on my work mobile. TPPCO appears on reports for other caller numbers but I can t find out who they are.

Called me several times, insisting I had opted in. I used their website contact form to complain and to my surprise got a reply offering to tell me where they got my details, BUT for a fee of 10.00! They also said my numbers had been removed but they ve just called my mobile... They are now blocked. TPS/OFCOM/ICO are useless so long as these people can claim you have opted in. There needs to be a mechanism for checking and revoking opt-ins. Or better still make the default on all websites opt-OUT,

the caller from the number phoned me he knew my name i asked who he was and he hung up the phone i then dailed back the number to ask who or what they are got a holding message ...

keeps calling at odd times of day when i m not at home, suggesting overseas caller. Number does not ring if i callback, dead line, suggesting phantom number masked and therefore assume to be a phishing number from africa or overseas. Give NO personal details and tell them to *uck off!!!

Have had 4 phone calls this morning. 3 went dead when picked up. 1 was answer machine message about subscription to amazon and asked me to press 1 to cancel and 2 to discuss options. I put the phone down. Has anyone else had these calls?

Unknown caller telephoning a TPS registered private number and failing to leave a message. Presumably an illicit sales call or a scammer.

08009887799 called 11:26am 11/02/2015 - had calls by this number previously but hadn t answered. I picked up and said nothing - 10 secs later call was hung up. I have no knowledge of this company (Allied Union) and am on TPS.

Number called me and asked me to confirm personal details, which they clearly had. Asked me random questions regarding whether I owned a dog, how much I earned etc, but when I told him I wasn t going to continue to answer his questions and put the phone down, he immediately called back. Phoned on several occasions and I still don t understand what the call is about. Very aggressive manner.

Called me, is in Luton from enterprise car rental.

It should be finally done something against such people. I keep receiving phone calls, in which immediately hung up. That s idiocy.

who is this and where did they get my number from?? i did get someone at the other end earlier today , they mumbled something, called me by a name then the line went dead. I can only assume that whoever was on the other end was a complete arsehole and i would not want to speak to him again anyway. time the authoroties got a grip with these cold callers and put a stop to it. telephone preference registration is a complete waste of time!!!
