Yet another call from an unknown number in Abingdon, fortunately I was away from the 'phone at the time. As I don't know them I am assuming this is a scam of some sort.

Automated call, said failure to respond would result in charges against me, gave me a case number, seemed to be to do with national insurance, wanted me to press one. I hung up.

This number rang me at 1102am today, did not answer as I did not recognise the number, and it is not in my contacts list. Thought it was a scam call and I may be right judging by the search results.

Scam call from an automated male English voice indicating a suspicious credit card transaction to an American gambling website. This same message was also received 5 minutes earlier on a different number 01590 674 555. Clearly a scam!

This number is from a batch of similar numbers: 07488871686. 07488871703. 07488871758, 07488871735, 07488871757, 07488871649, 07488871624, 07488871560, 07488871705. Many have been missed calls and the rest I let ring out. I rang back and they all have had an answering machine with the same female voice putting me in a queue and at no point saying who they are. Whoever they are, they have the ability to have or create many numbers. They get blocked and move onto another number and call back.

This number is from scammers in Birmingham wanting your bank details to repay you home appliance warranty overpayments that do not exist. Usually get three to four calls per week from same people using different numbers. They tell you that you have overpaid and they are from the refund department and can only pay your refund directly into your bank account DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY DETAILS. SCAM called with an automated message saying that it's from the tax office and I owe tax and to prevent going to jail that I needed to press 1 to answer them. I haven't worked in over 20years so I don't pay tax so not even the smallest possibility that I would owe any. Also the tax office would never contact you by phone. Just and scam to steal money. Why don't they get a proper job.

Man with good English African voice, knew my first name and claimed to be from my property repairs. Clearly he was a liar as he had no connection to my area nor the my property ownership.

Claimed they from smart insurance & company changed from original. They knew lots of info about insurance. Asked for acc details, put phone down and immediately rang my appliance insurance company and they said they havent been taken over by smart insurance. I felt relieved that i hadnt given out my bank details but its shocking how lnowledgeable they were and the information they currency had on it. Blocked immediately. Pls beware and be careful.

Caller bot. Leaves voice message. In order to get through to listen the voicemail, it asks you to "install" something by pressing specific numbers in the menu. Before accessing voicemail, the network automata speaks chinese! Further engagement is not recommended!

Some nonsense about the care/warranty package for my tv, cooker and washing machine. Asked for company name and gave me two different names. Then when he asked for the year I was born, I told him 1900 and he hung up. The bloke on the other end was really thick and gullible and I hope his wife leaves him and his mother sleeps with his best friend

SPAM they called saying they are BT Cloud but they aren't. They called on behalf of BT and they have no information of current contracts with BT etc...

SCAM - somebody called to ask to speak to my husband regarding his business account with British Gas. When I asked them to contact my husband's business directly they stated that the only number they had (which is our home number). They gave me a reference number and asked if my husband could call them. It all sounded very plausible - please be aware.

This number is grooming children that is Very young under aged and will not stop phoning a seven year old girl why are these people allowed to commit all these crimes and get away with destroying children in the uk
