They know a lot about you when they call, the knew name number address and postcode. It is an opinion poll about charity, they ask for age bracket, pension amount and a few other personal questions. They even asked favorite colour. I answered all their questions but I gave fake answers for every one. No way in hell they are knowing that much info about me.
I've had calls and texts from this number for days, asking for someone named Robert. I've answered twice. The first time, they hung up after I said I wasn't Robert. The second time, I argued with the man on the phone, who told me I'd have to pay £75 for the calls and texts to stop. He also said I need to "keep thinking" if I carried on with attitude...steer clear.

Many have been missed calls and the rest I let ring out. I rang back and they all have had an answering machine with the same female voice putting me in a queue and at no point saying who they are. Whoever they are, they have the ability to have or create many numbers. They get blocked and move onto another number and call back.

Asian lady called saying she was from a lifestyle survey, had a correct name, address and phone number stating this was not a sales call. After asking a couple of benign questions around gas supplier the questions became more intrusive and her attitude became more aggressive. At this point I waved her a cheery goodbye i.e. told her to F.....Off! As it was my mobile they called I have put the number into auto-reject address book - something I didn't know I had until reading this helpful website!
