I ve just discovered this number 08714 234 353 is customer services for the catalogue company Damart who sell ladies clothing.
Got a call today from some guy asking for me by name (which I didn t acknowledge - I never do.) I immediately asked who was calling to throw him off his spiel, unfortunately he mumbled his "company" which sounded like s&l legal? and immediately launched into his sales patter regarding the mis-selling of PPI. I let him ramble on for a few then interrupted him by saying I worked in the banking industry and could run rings round him with regards this. Was called up by a scam callcenter that told me that there was a problem with a payout from my life insurance, They had my name and phone number, but everything else was very clearly not legit so not the most professional scam I've seen.

Rang me re PPI, I "passed" initial questions, and was put through to someone called Steve in a Company that would handle the claim. That call was cut short due to an "IT issue their end" I never got promised call back, and complained 3 times to Reactiv.
