They were not very helpful or interested, did say when they last called me, which didn't match these calls, so I said will they investigate this number and the reply was, Oh there are a lot of calls made making out they are from the Halifax, just use number on the back of your card. Boiler scammers - Simply answer the call and pretend to be interested in what they are offering. You will probably be passed to a "manager" who will arrange for someone to visit you. Go along with it, make the appointment and when the salesman turns up tell him you are not interested and have wasted their time because they are wasting yours by ignoring the law and cold calling you. They hate having their time wasted This has worked for me and gives you a great feeling of having got them back.
