This may well actually well be from overseas as was an Indian sounding woman with a lot of background call centre noise. And after lots of 'hello's', they eventually mentioned they were calling about BT-Openreach Internet - Which I don't have, so when I said I know this is a scam, they just hung-up!

Refused to answer my questions about who they were and what they wanted and why they had called, insisting I should identify myself first. They then tried to get me to put my wife on the line, becoming more and more irate. I would expect legitimate callers to identify themselves and their business before demanding information.
