A common thing - telemarketing mostly uses a range of similar numbers. Be safe only ever answer a number you know, unless it us an unknown number, as it could very well be a hospital or government department trying to contact you. Most hospital or government departments use a switch board and have to dial a prefix to access an outside line. In that case you will not get the number that is trying to call.
