asked if i wanted a loan, they knew my email, etc, even knew ive had debt problems in the pass...... they said to get the loan i would have to pay an insurance fee of £75 before the loan would be put into my bank........i then rang them back asking for proof of there company they gave me a www. address to look at and thats what has confused me!!! it was a company with a london address and the phone called was abberdeen????

First call was just dialling tone. Second call lasted a couple of seconds, could hear call centre background, but no-one spoke. I will not answer if l see their caller display number.

SCAM claimed to be our Broadband providers (he did pull the right name out of fresh air) security department had indications that t a lot of files blocking the line to our router.Would I know why this was. I asked him not to phone again would report him to the police for harassment. He said was I accusing him of being a scam. To go to my computer he would tell me the license no from my account. I said no way. I asked him what (name of company) were going to do about the problem. He dropped the call.

Person advised they were calling about PPI, I advised this was a business number and requested that it be taken off their list, they agreed and we said goodbye, all nice and amicable, no need for shouting or rudeness. Will now add it to my contact called "DO NOT ANSWER" contact which takes it up to a grand total of 26 numbers :)
