Another of those calls when the phone is simply put down when I answer. Strongly suspect this to be a scam.
SCAM - male waited for my response when picking up had to ask three times who he was claimed it was Paul from car phone warehouse. Didn't trust his response when he took to long to answer a simple question.

This company sends you text messages saying you are owed an amount in thousands due to payment protection mis-selling. If you reply you get a voice mail saying ring this number. When you do you ll find the amount claimed to be due to you is non-existent. It s just a ploy to get you there.

Scam call purportedly from bank advising of fraudulent credit card transactions which they are blocking. The caller wants you to input a code which they text to you. DO NOT DO SO. If you do they will, no doubt, get access to your account. I put a block on the call number via my mobile phone provider and sent an email to the bank's security dept informing them of the scam.
Called trying to convince me I'd been in a car accident or was on someone's insurance, were EXTREMELY rude!

Whoever they are they keep phoning my mobile and when I don't answer they immediately call from a similar number. They are very slow to take the hint!
received call 9:30 am on Monday 21 Feb 2022. Didn't answer but rang it back having dialed 1471 to obtain number. Got continuous tone indicating number unobtainable.
