Female called Lauren contacted my mother (70 s) to sell service to stop unwanted calls (ironic). Very persistent and aggressive selling manner.she used the old trick of assuming my mother wished the service and went straight for her bank details. Thankfully my mother did not pass any. Lowest form of scum these people no better than bogus callers who steal from the elderly.

From Etsy. I was sceptical at first but didn’t seem to be a scam as they never asked for anything.
Said I had been involved in RTA and when I said I hadn’t they suggested that a member of my family must have been. I then asked if I should go to A&E and she asked why do I said I must have concussion as don’t remember the accident. She told me not to be so rude and then hung up. Blocked the number but they just change a few digits and ring again

Phone call received with a terrible line connection. Could not make out the company name. The callers reponse was very delayed as if it was a cold call machine. It asked me if i had been in a car accident so i replied no and hung up.

Absolute con. I googled the number for Argos in Norwich and got the 118469 number and thought it looked odd but dialled it to find it was a directory. They asked what number I wanted and I said oh I thought I was calling Argos. They said no but would you like the number so I said yes. Surely they gave an obligation to tell me I would be charged £7 to have it read out to me! A total scam and rip off.
