This is a company called Secure Homecare Ltd, trading as 247 Assist. They purport to provide homecare services such as pendant alarms etc. Once they have an elderly persons phone number they ring regularly, approxiately once every 2 months and sell a further item - usually in the region of about £135- £150.00. We were able to obtain a refund for the last one sold completely unecessarily to my mother - it took about a month to get a refund. We asked them to ensure that they removed details from their databas

I asked him not to phone again would report him to the police for harassment. He said was I accusing him of being a scam. To go to my computer he would tell me the license no from my account. I said no way. I asked him what (name of company) were going to do about the problem. He dropped the call.

James claimed to be from Microsoft Windows and there were corrupt files on my PC - just like other scammers Told them I had Microsoft antivirus, antispyware and malware and there was nothing wrong Even handed over to the supervisor who continued to argue.. I just terminated the call and reported the number to TPS/ICO
Their salesman told me lies about getting Government Funding for my windows, and then duped me into giving him my number and subsequently taking an Appointment Card so he could get his commission. When I found this out, I blocked their number. Utterly disgusting.
