Phone rang, silence then a click. They almost got my name right and told me they would be sending me a letter with a refund from a recent financial transaction, didn't specify which one. I suggested that the caller was probably better off seeking gainful employment elsewhere and should stop wasting both my and her time. I have no doubt this is a scam or con.

Harassing phone call and refused to confirm their identity when questioned.
Received call from a withheld number claiming to be TalkTalk and said there was an issue with my router and needed to connect to my computer. Asked for a reference number and they gave me this number 020 81233558 to call back. Instead I called TalkTalk's number on their website who confirmed no-one fro TalkTalk had called me and this was a phishing scam.

Total Scam call trying the old "We are checking and we can see your computer is infected". Told him to P*** Off and he was a F****** Idiot and did he not realise the world was wise to this scam. Complete scam - were aware of the accident but a complete chancer with the details - their pitch was that the other party at fault were claiming injuries and as I wasn t at fault they had reserved cash for my injuries and therefore wanted to know what injuries I had sustained - which were none in a < 5mph "nudge"
