SCAM call from someone suggesting he was from BT and seeking access to our broadband to correct a fault as they had been receiving lots of alerts and that our IP address was being used in the public domain. On calling back, i got an automated message saying that this number had not been recognised.

Received 4 calls from this number on 13, 16 and 17th January 2023 and on 15th Feb 2023. This is not a known number to me and I cannot see any reason why I would be receiving a call form an unknow number. I am blocking it and considering it suspicious.

Caller said they were from Microsoft and had noticed problems with my computer. I told him I thought it was a scam call and blocked that number.

When I would not say yes or no and just kept asking who was calling, she said well you can piss off! and put the phone down on me. phone call from 01270 102970 to home landline at 1645pm 12/01/2023. Caller had foreign accent . Caller said he was from Sky Assurance as our insurance on our TV is about to expire and offered me various deals at various costs to renew. I have never heard of Sky Assurance, and we do NOT currently have any insurance policy covering our TV. When I asked the caller where he was based , he hung up!
