TAXES / HMRC Automated call Fraud Ai voice stated the call was from hmrc, about a supposed letter from them that was returned, that I'm now facing legal action and press 1 to continue. Hung up at this point
Probably building to a scam, claimed to be BT a UK telephone provider investigating illegal activity on my internet, when I inquired as to who might be doing illegal things the caller suggested probably foreigners! The call was made at 7am in the morning to a private number, land line and one only known to family members.
Just had a very shady call, would only speak to the owner. Did some digging and found this warning on facebook: *ATTENTION SMALL BUSINESSES* Had a call from this company earlier today, trying to sell me advertising space on GP surgery appointment cards... Google them and you ll soon see they appear to be SCAMMERS... Been at it for years... I know from the phone conversation they re operating in the South Wales area in the next few days...
