This number has dialled my number 7 times in the past 3 weeks. I was overseas on holiday in South America at the time and so glad I had disabled my voicemail! They have called more than 10 times in the last few days. Including 3 times in 2 hours. I am registered on the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) and the Mailing Preference Service (MPS) but they are breaking the law by ignoring this. Don t be tempted to use them, especially the arrogant idiot in Ashbourne.

A recorded message said that the call was from the National Crime Agency (UK) and that my social security number had been compromised. Clearly a scam, probably phishing for information.

If you speak to these people quote the statute of limitations "Statutes of limitations are written laws passed by a legislative body in common law systems to set the maximum time after an event when legal proceedings may be initiated. When the period of time specified in a statute of limitations passes, a claim can no longer be filed" Statute barred debt refers to a debt that s not enforceable because the time a creditor has to chase payment has passed. This is outlined under the Limitation Act 1980.

Caller said that my Sky maintenance was due for renewal. I was suspicious straight away but weirdly I had just had Sky installed that day. I asked who had given my number and caller then terminated the call.

4 calls this morning from this number and hang up when I answered. Now blocked this number but know it will not stop as another number will be used.

My daughter answered the phone & the woman was insistant Id been in a Road traffic accident, she didnt say she was from a claim company . Rang again today regarding Loft Insulation Alex the caller name would not give detail of the company and when I ask for the details he ended the call. Alex informed me that he was in London working off a database. The do not take any notice if your registered with TPS.
