SCAM hung up when they got the ansaphone. Looking on another site it is linked to microsoft/BT hacker scam

Call today supposed to be from BT telling me my IP address was public and hey would make it private. 2 men in what sounded like a room full of people spoke to me. I sked where the were calling from and they gave me an actual BT address in London. I asked the guy if he was Indian and yes he was. I told him the 1st person I spoke with was India too. I asked him if this was a scam. I then heard someone say drop the connection. So looks like a scam to me.

A window popped up with a beep which blocked our browser and said we needed to correct some error, in bold red letters was this support number that we ended up calling, seemed believable at first but as soon as the lady on the phone asked for our first and

SCAM pretending to be the police calling about criminal activity on my national insurance number

Scam. Claims to be from HMRC. You are asked to press extension "1". If not - a warrant will be issued and you will be arrested promptly.

This number is used by scammers. My experience is that they advised me that my PayPal account had been used suspiciously, and invited me to call this number and get the supposed transaction cleared. What made this so dangerous, was the fact that they used the Paypal site giving this number to contact to resolve the problem. Very cute, they nearly caught me, but they asked too many questions about bank accounts, which set the alarm bells ringing. Asked why, the call was terminated.

THIS PHONE NUMBER GOT A 01685 COAD BUT COMES FROM LEEDS THEY WILL LET PHONE RING TWICE THEN HANG UP WHEN YOU PHONE THEM BACK TO FIND OUT WHO THEY ARE IT WILL BE LIKE IF THEY ARE CALLING YOU .

Fraud This man arranges to meet multiple people that he meets online and then doesn’t turn up. Catfish photos that probably aren’t him.

Usual rubbish

This line should belong to some company, but no remark on internet about it. I had a few missed calls from this one, probably some call centre robocaller testing my number? I don't answer unknown numbers and they left no message. Haven't found any info for this one, does anyone have some experience with this number? Be aware if this number calls, it is for a shared costs, so better not to call back.
