I answered the call and said "hello" 3 or 4 times but no one responded so I hung up and blocked the number.

Claim to be a company called Elite Legal, try to get personal info from you claiming its in relation to an accident. When you don't give them what they want they just hang up on you. Don't answer!! Plus keep ringing numerous times a day!! Scam!!

Claims centre cold calling

Constant calling with their insurance scam, even though I threatened with police and they laughed at me. These foreigners have been using lots of different numbers belonging to Digital Mail. So you can never completely get ride of these calls these number

Went to answering machine - no message left.

Informed my internet connection would be cut off as I had an infected computer. Offered to fix it. I terminated call but was given this number to call back 0115888521. Said his employee number was D860056 and was employed by BT.

I don't answer unknown numbers and they left no message. Have missed calls from them on my mobile, was trying to dig some info on the internet before calling them back, but found nothing, no luck. People pls did someone answer this number, who is it?

We keep getting called by this number then they hang up

Caller started to ask about an all inclusive holiday I had supposedly had in past 2 years. I had another call on hold as I didn't know the number and wanted to make sure it wasn't something important. When I stopped the girl and explainied that I had another call on hold and I couldn't take her call she said "what did you do that for?" and hung up! - cheeky scouse bi*ch. If I could be bothered I would ring back and complain but easier to block.

Boiler scammers - Simply answer the call and pretend to be interested in what they are offering. You will probably be passed to a "manager" who will arrange for someone to visit you. Go along with it, make the appointment and when the salesman turns up tell him you are not interested and have wasted their time because they are wasting yours by ignoring the law and cold calling you. They hate having their time wasted This has worked for me and gives you a great feeling of having got them back.

SCAM text message received from this number claiming to be from HSBC. Message states it detected new device used for HSBC access and to click on link provided to confirm device. Can't think why a bank would use a mobile phone number to text messages to it's customers. I'm not even a customer of HSBC and the location map of the number shows it in the middle of a field of nowhere!

Fraud

Spencer from The Energy Support Hub on 02922 229968 called me today. A sales scam as far as I am concerned. Carefully worded opening sales pitch offers Home Owners with a Gas boiler over 7 years old or more a replacement boiler at no additional cost to them, or some such spiel. What the Sales team deliberately fail to mention in the opening spiel is that the cost of the boiler is met through the up to 50% saving on the Home Owners annual gas bill. This only becomes clear some way into the call.
