Had a couple of calls from these guys now, they describe themselves as a crime prevention unit but are nothing more than an advertising company, after 10 mins of them telling me they needed my help to name and shame illegal tradesmen I asked if they were anything to do with the police or actual crime prevention at all, at that point the guy got a bit nasty and I ended the call. It turns out those businesses are their other client's debtors too and they use their private data illegally. Unfortunately we fell for this scam and paid. The Police let them get away with it as civil matter. The Courts are our only hope.

Called this morning asking for the owner of my telephone number - obviously Indian - but say she was ringing on behalf of TPS and was checking to see if number was still wanting to be blocked!! I hung up obviously but does wonder what that was all about!!!

A "TPS" scam pretending to add my number to block international calls in future. Kept them on the phone for about 15 minutes to waste their time. They asked for my debit card number which I duly supplied ;-) and then turned the air blue. Sweet revenge!
