Received a call from this number on March 18th. Once I said hello, the man calling introduced himself as someone from a Financial Guidance organisation. I asked him not to call back as I wasn t interested and that I had already registered my number with TPS, at which point he became abusive and starting swearing at me, then hung up.

Is generally believed to be a scam aiming to get access to bank account details for the purposes of defrauding. Nothing BT or TPS can do - Government are the only ones with the power to stop these types of calls.
