They asked how the accident happened (claiming they wanted to check accuracy of the information they had on file). The number was different to the ones my real insurance company call me from, so i suspect they were looking to offer some compensation claim service.

Very persistent and aggressive selling manner.she used the old trick of assuming my mother wished the service and went straight for her bank details. Thankfully my mother did not pass any. Answered this call and was met with a dialling tone ... Googling the number showed it to be linked to "Ambulance Chasers". They won t get a chance to call again as I ve blocked it on my iPhone. I have been inundated with calls in the last week from different numbers, but don t know why as I HAVEN T had an accident! Hopefully the law will be changed soon to bin these nuisance calls.

This number called me and said they were from Windows Service desk, I have worked in the IT industry for a long time and I knew that this was a spoof call, I hung up and rang the number back to be answered by someone completely different they did not say what the company was when I questioned them they became defensive, these people are definately scammers please be aware.
