Housing disrepair scam I didn't answer them, but I phoned back and instantly Asian woman says my name ,so I decided to play along for a little while, until she asked me for personal details so I gave her the address of my local police station

SCAM called about washing machine insurance not the company we are with told him and he hung up. Called back the number to hear "thankyou for callng its ok an agent will be with you shortly" rang 3 times and hung up

SPAM guess ? They rang at 08.45 and silent. They there was a click, a background noise, then they hung up. Very annoying. Luckily I’m not old and infirm but this could unsettle an older person.

Number 01322 936144 is a Telemarketing Scam! If ever you don't recognise the number, DON'T SPEAK and JUST LISTEN! If you don't hear anyone, and after a short pause the line goes dead, then congratulations you've just successfully escaped being scammed! This is because it was a computer calling trying to establish if your number was a voiceline. If you'd spoken your number would be logged as a voiceline and some clever con artist would be phoning you later, so now you know. If ever in doubt always hang up!

Claiming to be from Visa Mastercard fraud team about two transactions of £700. I hung up at this point

He wanted me to switch on computers and check broadband speed etc. Of course I did not comply and hung up. This number called twice today. The man claims to be from a mobile phone company that works with my operator. Offers better deals. and need my details, and my contract details and when I asked why he's not taking data from the screen he admitted that my details are not there and he is calling with a completely different company. Clearly scammers and it's better not to talk to this number.
