called my landline today 6/7/20 which is the same exchange, after a silence the phone was answered by a man giving his name and said he was calling about my government-funded loft insulation. It sounded like he was on speaker phone in a very echoey room. I hung up and have blocked this number
These jokers called me today addressing me as "Mr Steven" I said where are you calling from? He said "Nationwide" I said "Really? Well then you should know that in Britain nobody is Mr first name either just use their first name or Mr with their last name". This confused my thickly accented Indian friend greatly but I think he understood me in the end. This number called my elderly mums number, I answered, they said it was something to do with Windows then mentioned computer, I told them not to ring this number again that there was no computer at the property and to remove our number from their database, I was rudely informed that if they were to do that we would be charged, and they could ring as many times as they wished.
